We are upgrading SAP ECC support pack. I understood that we need to fetch all the extract queues to BW before upgrade. We are comfortable with all datasources except 0FI_GL_4. Reason being it fetches the delta as per standard settings i.e. till previous day. So, if we fetch the data at 02:00 AM, then any other delta run (delta info pack run) after this on that day will not bring any data to BW. Is my understanding correct?
Now we are planning to take downtown tomorrow at 08:00 AM. My question is - if above statement is true, then what will happen to the delta accumulated tomorrow starting at 02:00 AM till 08:00AM. Will that be lost? Is there any way to extract this delta? or is it safe to assume that we can extract this delta after upgrade too?
